A masterpiece that’s almost perfect
It was a return to past that mediated by the present, for me, it was also a meditation on that past that is lost and is dying now. Almost all of the scenes are like a painting, and none of the characters are loud or garish, but almost border on acting themselves out in their own story, as if they can see they are played themselves out and with a premonition that this is going to die away, and yet a wistful sweetness of that “gamak ghar” is just too dear to be not relished . Toward the end it gets caught in its own pace and plot, but somehow manages to finish the dirge leaving that imprint on viewers mind. A masterpiece in Maithili cinema.

Superb Observation And Portrayal
This art piece is like a memory travel through a lens of an observer . The way visual elements were once witnessed comes to life on screen and viewer is lost in nostalgia. Superb Work !
