The movie is getting a lot of attention
Like it or not, the movie is getting a lot of attention based on the number of reviewers. IMO, the reason is the odd story plot and the memorable mermaid. I was intrigued.

Don’t be fooled by the storyline
Reading a description of what the film is about, one could be easily fooled and could give this interesting film a miss. I was really surprised at how good the film was and it was amazingly entertaining. OK, it was a bit slow in parts, but I suppose this was the suspense bit, but overall, I think the movie, in general, succeeded where previous mermaid films have failed.

I gave it an 8 – some parts could have been done a little bit better but in terms of entertainment, acting, dialogue, the special effects that were, and the budget, it was very good.
