Watch: War Eagle, Arkansas 2007 123movies, Full Movie Online – Coming of age in an Ozark town. Enoch is a high school senior: he stutters, has one friend, Wheels, a kid with CP who’s in a wheelchair, and thinks about college in Tennessee on a baseball scholarship. He’s philosophical, loves poetry, and lives with his mom and grandfather. Life gets complicated when he finds himself attracted to Abby, one of the popular girls. When he starts hanging out with her, even though he wants Wheels along, in part to help him finish his sentences, it causes friction between the two friends and gives Enoch pause about whether he should “leave town to make something of himself.” Can he figure out what he wants without hurting anyone’s feelings? Maybe not..
Plot: Based on a True Story War Eagle, Arkansas is a character-driven drama about a young man’s choice of whether to leave his family and friends for a career in baseball or stay and redeem his struggling community. The story takes place over a few pivotal weeks in the summer after Enoch Cass’s senior year, and is set against the backdrop of Arkansas’ beautiful Ozark Mountains. War Eagle, Arkansas poses important questions that face all young people in rural America. The answers we find could touch us all.

In the town of War Eagle, Arkansas, Enoch (Luke Grimes) is a shy high school pitcher with a stuttering problem. He lives with his mom (Mare Winningham) and grandfather Pop (Brian Dennehy). His only friend is smart-mouthed wheelchair-bound Wheels who suffers from Cerebral Palsy. Wheels constantly pushes Enoch to gain confidence while Enoch defends Wheels from bullies. Abby takes a liking to Enoch but he struggles to ask him out. Wheels is raised by his single mom Jessie (Mary Kay Place). I really like the friendship. The young actors are fine although I wish Luke Grimes looks better as a baseball player. They’re assisted by some great veterans. The story isn’t too intense. It’s a sweet coming-of-age story.
