He is proud of how bright and shiny his coat of wool is, so much so that it makes him want to dance, which in turn makes all the other creatures around him also want to dance. His life changes when one spring day he is captured, his wool shorn, and thrown back out onto the plateau all naked and pink. But a bounding jackalope who wanders by makes the lamb look at life a little differently in seeing that there is always something exciting in life to bound about..
Plot: On a high mountain plain lives a lamb with wool of such remarkable sheen that he breaks into high-steppin’ dance. But there comes a day when he loses his lustrous coat and, along with it, his pride. It takes a wise jackalope – a horn-adorned rabbit – to teach the moping lamb that wooly or not, it’s what’s inside that’ll help him rebound from life’s troubles.

Weirdly watchable.

It doesn’t mean to be anything but cute. It succeeds completely. Water’s lovely.

And I keep listening to that peculiar little song. I think the line that gets me is “I must say they found his dancin’ enhancin’.” Dunno. Just like it.

As for folks who are comparing it to Disney or Eisner or whoever — there’s little dribbles of Warner Brothers in here, and a splash of Anime and just a SMIDGEN of Hannah Barbara.

Oh, let’s just call it Animation Chow Mein and be happy with it.
