With the Lounge’s troupe members changing into more and more distracted by private issues and a risk coming from a rich businessman’s quest to purchase the spot from Tess, the nice fortune appears to have deserted the membership altogether. Meanwhile, the lifetime of Ali, a small-town lady from Iowa, is about to vary dramatically. Hired by Tess as a waitress on the Lounge, Ali escapes a hole previous and shortly falls in love with the artwork of burlesque. Backed by newfound mates amongst the theater’s crew, she manages to satisfy her goals of being on stage herself.
