Plot: NYC-based copy editor, Alex, is sent to Ridgeline Resort, an extreme sports outpost, to write a story for a travel writing competition. At first, she fails at everything – much to the chagrin of Cole, an extreme sports enthusiast who thinks this city girl should head back to New York. But when Alex offers to assist Cole with his local arts festival, he reluctantly obliges to be her guide as she faces her fears doing one extreme sport after the next.

Simple yet effective. One of the better hallmark movies.
Hallmark movies most of the time are a pleasant timepass but hardly more. This one is one of the exceptions. This one leaves you with its impression. You actually see the development that happens over the course of the movie. The love that blossoms between the leads feels natural instead of forced and manufactured. Their expressive acting breaths life into the story. Overall a commendable job. One of those movies you can watch again.

Winter Extremes…love the view
I’ve watched this movie so many times. I love all the winter sports. Costume continuity isn’t always correct like when she walks down the stairs with no purse then walks into Ridgeline Art Gallery with a purse on her right arm. OOPS!! But who notices these things. Just me. Lol. I still love this movie. The chemistry between these 2 is so believable and I like the banter.
