**The story of how a hitman became hitgirl!**

Actually, it was a much better film than what I’ve heard of it. What could you expect from a B movie? This was a much better film for its small budget with a decent cast. The storyline seems okay, but Michelle Rodriguez is the one who made it possible. Yeah, it was like created for her to play the main role and she excelled. The filmmaking was quite compromised when the initial part of her character was played by herself. Because of particularly her height, but decently convinces us with all the rest of the makeovers.

The film was about an assassin, who after encountering some wrong men, discovers later that he’d went through gender reassignment surgery. Now raged with anger, he begins his hunt whoever behind it, especially finding the reason for. With a small romance and action sequences, the film comes to an end. Before giving it a try, you must understand that it is not the film you should expect to be a masterpiece. It tried its best to narrate a decent story, as well as you get your entertainment along. So it is not a must see, but still worth a watch.

A risky movie to make, people on both ends of the political spectrum are going to have things to say about _The_ _Assignment_ without ever having seen it, of that I have no doubt. But personally, and trying to put all that aside, _The_ _Assignment_ is actually halfway decent. It uses a couple of tropes I don’t enjoy, for instance it has not one but two separate point of view framing devices, and I got the distinct impression that Sigourney Weaver was only there for maybe one full day of shooting, but I still was able to engage in the story, which was certainly one I hadn’t seen on screen before.

Between this and _Inconceivable_ I’m having a great month for film titles that are super inappropriate puns.

Made it through an hour…
…then started to doze off. Came to look at the reviews before deciding if I should finish it, and they made my decision for me – not going to. Women playing men never works in movies. They try to adjust their voices, and it just sounds fake. And most don’t walk anything like men, and the hips certainly don’t lie. Also, the transition was far to unbelievable – it was basically instant. Other than that, the action wasn’t particularly exciting. No idea where the story line on Weaver’s character goes, but I lost interest and simply don’t care. I doubt you will either.

Deserves a better rank
I’d never heard of this, happened upon it on HBO. Someone else here said this is a weird movie and worth watching, and that review made me give it a chance. Glad I did. Weird movie indeed. Michelle Rodriguez does an amazing job in this role. I didn’t think they’d pull it off so well. Spoilers after this point. Definitely quit reading if you haven’t seen it and plan to. Let it be a surprise.

In the scenes when Frank wakes up as a woman, the acting is great. How she leaves her robe open like someone new to being a woman would. How she moves like a man throughout the movie, and gotta love the huge penis shot while frank is still a man. What a fun role for Rodriguez, walking around with that thing. Also, seeing her acting like a man after she’s a woman is fun. So out of place to see a woman wrecking up the place in anger, or even just being so direct and rude for a woman, but normal for a man.

Overall the movie is a 6, but I give it an extra point for its uniqueness and because people are rating it too harshly. It’s entertaining throughout. It falls between categories, it’s not a great action movie, but it’s a good concept movie. You’ll think about it multiple times in the weeks after seeing it. I suspect some men are made uncomfortable by the movie and it lost points for lacking sexy sex scenes. Cmon guys, it has nudity, just go with it. It’s a fun movie.

Like someone on here already said, it’s weird and worth watching if you like weird movies.
