Good watch, could watch again, and can recommend.

While it’s potentially problematic for many of the same reasons for the Mel Gibson “What Women Want”, I think this is a much better version, and a good modernization. It’s also a good way to shift it to a “black movie”.

Taraji P. Henson does an excellent job carrying the movie and it is full of good humor, and exciting moments.

The movie does send a little bit of a mixed message as it seems to indicate that a woman needs to be a man in order to play in a man’s world, but it feels more like its about it not being a man’s world.

This is a good time, my only concern is that she’s not a very likable character at the start of the movie.

I knew there was a What a Women Want reboot in the works, and my interest was **zero**.

I heard they were flipping the script a la genders, and it was still zee – row.

Cast Taraji P. Henson in the lead and I was like: “Fuck… I’m gonna have to watch this now aren’t I?”

And so I did. But I probably shouldn’t have.

Both Men and Women want the same thing – a decent film !
Honestly this was rubbish

I can’t think of one redeeming feature of it ?

The script was awful full of stereotypes and cliches . Full of thinly disguised racism , homophobia , sexism and misogyny

This was no female version of Jerry McGuire yet it could have been – it could have been a film about female empowerment against a backdrop of male dominated sports agencies .

The sex scenes were embarrassing and diabolical . There was little of any humour and as soon as she received her inevitable knock on the head you wished you’d also been knocked out and woke up in a different film !

If this was television , netflix or Prime you’d stop it or switch channels – unfortunately it’s cinema so you feel compelled to stay to the end , sadly I couldn’t I tried but in the end I had to walk out . I tried to stay till the end but it was just so flat .

It’s so sad that films like this get distributed when there are so many other worthy films out there that never the exposure .

Hey i have an ideal lets take black panther put in an all white cast and see how good the movie does!! This was a stupid movie and definitely not what men want. You can’t take a movie that wasn’t all that good change the race and make it better big flop here….
