“A Man Called Jon” is a light-hearted comedy. Pastor Terrell Carson has been ostracized from churches due to his worship style. This White Pastor is sent to an African-American church and, while the congregation is more welcoming, challenges still ensue. As it increasingly becomes difficult to find a family movie, with Christian principles, that the entire family can enjoy…”A Man Called Jon” was a breath of fresh air. It was funny, yet had a message about being true to oneself; as well as stressed the importance of following and waiting on God.
