Unrealistic and wooden
I only watched this because my mother lives in Atlantic City. Total waste of time.

A heartwarming tale of rebuilding
A Rising Tide is a heartwarming but not cheesy story about how if life tries to get you down it’s worth it to try and get up again. This movie also subtly showcases how hard times can bring people together. In addition, I really liked the love story. Sam is not too pushy or macho and Sarah doesn’t let him get away with unacceptable behavior. The acting and dialogue was also really good.
