Watch: Angels in the Snow 2015 123movies, Full Movie Online – The Montgomerys – parents Charles and Judith, and their three children, fifteen year old Alexander, fourteen year old Jennifer and adolescent Emily – are spending Christmas at a new, isolated, state-of-the-art mountain cabin built by Charles’ development company in upstate New York. Outwardly Charles built it so that they can spend time there to reconnect as a family, but they all know that he really built it to support the business. They as a family have long not been happy, as workaholic Charles is always concerned the company is close to folding, especially if he doesn’t keep an eye on matters, while Judith feels like he treats their entire family as second priority to the work and the associated money and material wealth. They make it to the cabin just before a major snowstorm hits the area. They receive a surprise knock on their door from the Tuckers – parents Joe and Amy, and their two children, fifteen year old Robbie and fourteen year old Lucie – who ran off the road in their van on their way to a day ski trip, they who need shelter until the storm blows over. Unlike the Montgomerys, the Tuckers are a loving, happy family, who support each other as a family unit. The Montgomerys and the Tuckers do bond during their confined time together, but the sheer presence of the Tuckers may not be enough in and of itself to demonstrate to the Montgomerys what they need to do to avert the break-up of their family..
Plot: In Angels in the Snow, the affluent, yet troubled Montgomery family hits the road for a special Christmas in the mountains.

The story had huge potential but the execution was terrible.
The major characters of the Montgomery family were overplayed. My major impression of Judith was hiding in the background, if not in her bedroom, whining. We could have gotten the point that Charles was feeling the pressure with half the phone calls and running out the door. Jaeda Lily Miller is way cute, but even she overplayed the cute a little.
Scenes with the blue screen were clumsy and obvious. A scene where the family is walking in snow shoes is also clumsy. Among other things, the whole family walks a straight line, then turns a right angle and walks toward the camera, all of this in a totally open and flat field of snow.
The message at the heart of the movie was a good one especially for the holiday season. There are touching moments as a result. There was nice twist at the end, but even that is executed clumsily. It was good that the movie provided foreshadowed clues for the twist. I’m not sure if they provided too many clues.
Where to begin?
SPOILERS**** Oh Dear…where to begin? The scenery was lovely and the cabin was a dream come true. The rest of the movie? It was an hour and a half of my life that I will never get back. It was so bad that I couldn’t stop watching. I had the entire plot figured out in the first 10 minutes. There were a few things that were so bad they have just stuck in my mind like a goofy song you can’t get out of your head. The Montgomery parents were the most selfish example of a Mother and Father that I have ever seen. We the viewers were supposed to dislike the Father and side with the Mother but I found myself doing the opposite! The Mother was the most self absorbed, spoiled example of womanhood you can imagine. She just says whatever whiny thing comes to mind with no concern for how it will be heard by her children.I actually felt sorry for the Dad. As for the Tuckers…yikes…Someone told the teenage son to lean in and look seriously intense during what was supposed to be heartfelt dialog. To me he looked like he was going to lose it and kill them all in their sleep! As far as the ending…the wrong family died. What struck me as weird was how The Montgomery’s just accepted that the Tucker’s were dead with no sorrow or real emotion…not a care was given. It was like…”Oh well…they are dead. But Hey! Didn’t they give US a great Christmas?…la da de da” On the bright side, if you can watch this movie as a parody and laugh at the total absurdity of it you just might be able to make it through to the end.
