Terrible, awful script.
This movie comes to me as the project of two rich young cinematography students that while sharing a beer come up with a script in like 15 minutes. Underdeveloped plot, underdeveloped characters, pointless dialogs and censored gore to save it for the ladies. Terrible, terrible movie.

If you’re studying cinematography you may want to see this movie to appreciate the technical aspects of filming (to some extent).

If you’re an actor, you may want to see this movie because if there is anything that saved this movie from being total garbage is the effort the actors put to keep up with the script and not falling flat to the floor while pulling their hairs off out of shame.

Awful script. Decent direction. Decent acting.

Poor brooding white girl
The movie starts off with a cute but annoying white girl trying to have a conversation with her bf. Immediately I knew what the was going to say, and I thought “why wouldn’t you call him on the phone for something that important?!” Which, btw, adds nothing to this story.

The premise was good: people turning into zombies because of something on the internet. The execution, however, was awful. I’m not going to fault the actors for being bad; they all seemed new to the game. The problem was the directing. With 0 character development, you didn’t feel anything for anyone, and you hoped they would all die. The pacing was very slow and often left my mind wandering to other things like what’s for dinner today.

The ending is extremely cop outish leaving me to believe that the director and writers just got bored with their own project. I will say this is a good napping movie.
