The Order of the Bear, an ancient secret society awaiting Arthur’s return, may be at hand, and Allie’s own parents, if not members of the Order, are at least Order wannabes. Allie becomes quickly linked to two classmates: Will, the school’s revered pretty-boy quarterback (whose girlfriend is having relations on the side with his best friend, and whose dark, brooding step-brother lurks about threateningly), is the most obvious Arthur candidate. Miles, the observant and witty school geek, suffers psychic flashes that always prove true and may be the reincarnation of Merlin. As the Arthur prophecy seems to indeed be unfolding before her, Allie finds herself in the protectorate role, guarding Will against the forces of Mordred who’re out to destroy Arthur at his every appearance down the centuries, whose destruction would plunge the world into another Dark Age.
Plot: Disney Channel’s production of Julie Sherman Wolfe’s screenplay adaptation of the popular novel Avalon High by Meg Cabot. Elaine “Ellie” Harrison has just moved from Minnesota to Annapolis, Maryland while her parents take a year long sabbatical to continue their medieval studies in nearby DC. Her new high school, Avalon High, seems like a typical high school with the stereotypical students: Lance the jock, Jennifer the cheerleader, Marco, the bad boy/desperado, and Will, the senior class president, quarterback, and all around good guy. But not everyone at Avalon High is who they appear to be, not even Ellie herself. Eventually, it becomes apparent that Avalon High is a situation where the ancient Arthurian legend is repeating itself. Will, Jennifer, Lance, Marco, and Mr. Morton all correspond to King Arthur, Queen Guinevere, Knight Lancelot, Mordred, and Merlin, respectively.

I happen to be a huge Meg Cabot fan, and i loved the book. i was of course totally disappointed. they changed the whole plot to make it into some weird girl power rubbish.characters names, attitudes, insanely important themes all missing. they introduced like 3 new people, changed ELLIE’S name, changed the story’s antagonist,and many other things. the acting was fine though, and possibly, had they not massacred Meg Cabot’s amazing book, i would not have hated it. unfortunately, that is not the case. They also had nothing to do with the legend, thanks to the changes. hopefully, one day, Disney channel will stop screwing up my favourite things.

Destiny
That song is the only reason why I suffered through this entire movie. I LOVE PLAY and they sang it perfectly (no surprise.) That song is the only good thing about this movie and it should be for sale on iTunes..
