Watch: Belmonte 2018 123movies, Full Movie Online – Belmonte paints forests full of trees, naked men in strange positions, submarine fantastic scenes, men/animals hybrid creatures, gravediggers characters, well-built men going up stairs to the leap, love scenes below trees. All of his work, sometimes full of colors, shows loneliness and melancholy, but also beauty and attraction to the human body. Even though Belmonte shows himself distant to some of his family members, he is an emotional man who needs affection all the time; he is especially dedicated to his daughter, Celeste. When Celeste isn’t around Belmonte is kind of lost. There’s a new and important exhibition upcoming at the National Museum of Montevideo but Belmonte is thinking more about the changes inside his family: his ex-wife got pregnant by another man, and he feels Celeste is going to spend less time with him. Belmonte negotiates with his ex-wife about the amount of days he should live with Celeste, he wants more, he needs more days; but is not easy, because his ex-wife argues that she wants to give Celeste a family ambient. The film follows Belmonte’s point of view and focus on what he is attracted to, and how his sensitivity applies to his art. In a way, the film shows how creativity is mixed with domestic life, and how both things couldn’t be separated because none of them will have sense alone. Belmonte, with an unique personality and cyclic mood, will have to manage to cross a middle age crises where new acquaintances and fantasies are starting to appear..
Plot: Federico Veiroj’s fourth feature examines the many, often contradictory layers that make up one’s persona, in this case, a single dad and acclaimed artist who must learn to balance family with creativity.

Metaphysical art
The film is artistic, the shots are incredible. Although the story could have been a little more developed, it seems to me that it reflects in an incredible way the problem of the protagonist, we only see the world of that strange painter, his daughter is familiar to us, his problems are familiar but at the same time they are strange to us, there is something there that makes him to be him and us, the spectators, to be us, we see an exposition of a man’s life, a life with problems like anyone else’s but that alludes to something else, an emptiness and another problem that does not come out on camera, and this makes the film wonderful, it does not tell us the main problem of the protagonist, we feel it. It does not tell us what happens to the protagonist but in his actions, in his eyes we see it, we see what is beyond the camera, the metaphysical that torments our artist.

The protagonist’s performance is extremely memorable, with his eyes and expressions he manages to transmit an infinite number of things, without him the film would surely not have been so memorable.

Give this one a miss
This overly sympathetic portait of a male artist who (wants to but) cannot look after his amazing kid rubbed me up the wrong way.

It’s really patriarchy at work to have the focus on the exhusband and his various flings. Although yes it is true he seems perhaps realising the error of his ways. I wanted more about the kid! She was supercool. The exwife was also underdeveloped.
