Overall this isn’t one of the better Into the Dark movies but is still worth a viewing
Blood Moon (2021) is the newest Into the Dark movie on Hulu. The storyline for this follows a single mother traveling with her ten year old who has a unique set of rules tied to the full moon. As the story unfolds we discover how he got those powers and how long she can keep his uniqueness a secret. This movie is directed by Emma Tammi (The Wind) and stars Megalyn Echikunwoke (House of Lies), Yonas Kibreab (Silicon Valley), Joshua Dov (West World) and Jack Yang (Seven Pounds). The storyline for this film had a lot of potential. I really liked the character development and how everything unfolded. Unfortunately, there wasn’t many horror elements, but there were some great remains here and there and fantastic character interactions I thoroughly enjoyed. The mother and son’s characters were portrayed really well. The ending was a bit disappointing and fell short of the build up for me. Overall this isn’t one of the better Into the Dark movies but is still worth a viewing. I’d score this a 5/10.

Well, my usual complaint about these movies is that they run for too long. That wasn’t true here, and while this wasn’t perfect and had a bad ending, I liked it for the most part,
