Don’t listen to the trolls, it’s not for them.
I thought this movie was excellent at depicting not a ‘postcode war’ but the reality of how these disputes can start between friends and carry on for years. I think all the negative reviews talking about “glorifying violence” or adding fuel to the fire didn’t get that this is actually a reality in inner city areas been shown on screen here and maybe made them feel uncomfortable. They just don’t understand the realities of what’s going on. Maybe this is why people attempted to ban this movie as it’s embarrassing to the UK to show this side of our inner cities? It’s a young cast that I believe performed exceptionally and even if the acting/script/lighting whatever you want to say wasn’t 10/10 Hollywood it was still a great movie and the slightly amateur feel only adds to the authenticity of the movie. Great movie too many middle aged white people didn’t get it and that’s fine just don’t come on here with your disparaging comments. This movie in no way glorifies violence but shows it as something the characters deal with daily even though the majority would rather be doing something else completely but have little choice due to social/economic pressures.

B movie feel
Everything about this felt B movie and the audience I was sat in only made it more cringe rolling round laughing at any sex scenes or anyone doing anything nice shouting abuse at the screen to any acts of good. The only character in the film to turn things round ridiculed verbally by the screening was uncomfortable at best. Whatever the film was trying to achieve if it was meant to cause any good it’s certainly failed and from a drama spectacle it was cringey at best looking for cheap laughs and not showing anywhere close to what it’s really like out there.
