The context in which you watch this film and your expectations will contribute to your enjoyment of this movie.

If you are looking for just another clone of ‘Scream’, ‘I know what you did last summer’, etc, etc and the rest of those tedious teen shockers then you will be disappointed.

The film is more in the style of Ring, or Dark Water, but with plenty of trouser filling jumps (in fact more then any other film I can remember). Throw in some excellent twists and you have one fun movie.

The movie doesn’t rely on gore, or lots of CGI (though it does incorporate some), but on imagery and atmosphere.

However, to get the most out of this movie you need to see it on a big screen and, most importantly, with a good sound system. Watching it on a small TV with crappy sound just won’t work.

Don’t expect every thread to be resolved either as that is not what the film is about. Some issues are just left hanging though I personally didn’t feel they detracted from the whole.

In short, this is just a real fun film in an eerie kinda way, with fantastic sound FX editing and creepy imagery.
