Trying to prolong her newfound fame, she stumbles into hilarious hijinks as her world turns upside-down: dodging a wannabe mobster (Awkwafina), a relentless local policewoman (Regina Hall), her local news-reporter half-sister (Mila Kunis) who’s desperate for a story, and her husband’s deadbeat brother (Jimmi Simpson), who all set out to uncover the truth behind the disappearance..
Plot: An overlooked pencil-pusher catches her husband in bed with another woman, the shock of which causes him to die of a heart attack. So she buries his body and takes advantage of the growing celebrity status that comes from having a missing husband. But she quickly finds herself in over her head, dodging cops and criminals, all while trying to keep the truth from her sister, a local news anchor who’s desperate for a story.

Enjoyable thriller
Allison Janney rocks yet again. This time as.in a different kind of character not seen before. The movie begins with her being a simple wife who is not even enough self assertive to begin with…and then…Good script leading to an entertaining thriller that is thoroughly enjoyable. Good direction by Tate Taylor. I enjoyed her last thriller AVA which was the reason I decided to watch this one and she does not disappoint.

I am Important
Sue Buttons (Allison Janney ) has low self-esteem issues and listens to affirmation tapes. Her husband Karl (Matthew Modine ) becomes the focal point when he goes missing. He dies in a motel home when Sue catches him with another woman (Bridget Everett). Rather than do the right thing, she disposes of the body and reports him missing for media attention. As the attention wanes, Sue comes up with a new detail to keep the story alive. Unfortunately Karl was laundering money that has now gone missing. Other people are looking for him. And they are not nice.

The film had the right about of twists and turns. Characters played by Wanda Sykes and Awkwafina made this a very fun film.
