It seems, some people have lost their ability to judge class.

“Crash Pad” is a true gem amongst the numerous romantic comedies that try but ultimately fail to present some real heart and wit.

What expecially stands out with this movie is the witty, polished dialogues.

I haven’t heard people talk like this in a long time – it reminds me of the great screwball comedies of the past.

Most movies of today forget that there is a duty to fulfill: To produce memorable characters and quotable, unique dialogue. “Crash Pad” succeeds massively.

I haven’t had so much fun in a long time, and on top there’s real heart in it.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews. You won’t regret watching this.

Criminally underrated
This movie is an absolute riot from start to finish. All heart, no gimmicks, fantastic casting and acting. The script is tight, original, and well-written, which is becoming increasingly rare in the age of adaptations, remakes, and cinematic universes.

Christina Applegate is, as always, impeccable. But the star of the show is Domhnall Gleeson. He has an almost David Tennat-ish raffish charm about him. You cannot tear your eyes away from the screen for a moment when he’s on, he’s so incredibly captivating and delightful.

It’s sad but understandable why this movie is rated so low. It satirizes toxic masculinity and the modern American ideal of what a relationship should be like. What’s not to hate?
