Don’t expect Def Comedy Jam
This recording was seemingly put together for all of the legends of Def Comedy Jam to get dressed up and slap each other on the back for times gone by. In terms of pure comedic output, this was poor. If you’d wanted a stand up comedy, go back to the Original DCJ and enjoy. If you want a slightly emotional call back to 80s and 90s black comedy, give it a go. Mind you…nice to Chappelle back on stage in any form.

I My was wonderful seeing clips of the greats and having greats give shout outs to other greats. Dave Chappel was funny as hell.
