I was Entertained
Just happened to find this movie on a Saturday night film scrolling expedition. As an Inglewood, Cali boy myself I decided to watch because the cast included a few Hollywood heavy hitters like George Lopez, Emilio Rivera and Noel Gugliemi. More backstory on the story’s hero could have been included, but I was entertained by this East Los superhero story. Our brown brothers and sisters need more of these.

Great Movie, Mediocre Acting by the Main Character
I am giving this Movie an 8 out of 10 for the fight scenes, and the costume of El Chicano. Everything else was kinda slow, but real life investigations do take time. So, can’t hate on the slowness too much. Wish the main character would have had different memories about this brother. Mainly due to the fact that you can tell from his one memory that they were once close. Also, it is obvious that he did boxing as a child. But, “How in the heck did he obtain the fighting skills of a seasoned Ninja”? If his memories would have focused more on how he became so good at fighting, and his brother, I would easily give this movie 10 Stars. Despite my mixed feelings about this movie, can’t wait till the 2nd one comes out. Final advice: If you haven’t seen this movie yet, check it out! If you can make it through the slowness, you won’t be disappointed
