FOREST OF THE VAMPIRE is a truly dreadful indie horror effort that once again follows a group of hikers on their trip into the woods (it’s cheap to film, you see). While there they discover that the forest is under the sway of an evil vampire clan which has designs on them. Encounters with said vampires are shot in a ridiculously cheesy and artistic way that provokes laughter. The whole thing is quite terrible, with the only item of interest the list of cult directors listed in the ‘thanks’ section of the end credits.
