your average outdoor weekend with a twist
To sum it up, I’d say good acting, but empty movie. This movie navigates trough an average weekend among friends that last way to long. It’s like they forgot it was an horror movie and squizzed some very predictable horror real quick at the end. Even the unfolding is messed up, like the tension rise a lot and orientate the viewer in a direction only to swirl in the very end to a totally different and disappointing one.

The cast is nice, the actors are surprisingly good and likable. They aren’t too stereotypical for once. They actually make the movie kind of watchable. Bad luck for them, the plot is terrible.

Why are the rankings so high? This movie is boring! The phones in a bag thing is played out. No one in real life would do that, especially not kids their age. The characters are 1 dimensional, especially the over the top black character. The movie did its job as background noise as I did other things.
