One hell of an emotional roller coaster…
For one, I’m not really an emotional kind of guy but there is something about war movies that always gets me, my wife will tell you. Thing is, this is not really a war movie. Rather, it is the story of how war can have lasting effects on friendship, family and one’s humanity. “Heroes Don’t Come Home” really struck a cord with me and the emotions portrayed by the actors really hit home and felt real. It truly is a heartfelt story that really tugged at my emotions. There’s a message in the film and, although I’m not a soldier, it was relatable to both soldier and civilian. A great film that I would love to have in my library of movies.

Started off a bit naff but got a lot better.
At first I thought it was just a cheaply made movie with bad cameras fake snow and worse. but the story and character were actually pretty darn good. there’s not really any war content, as the movie is more about how it affects people.

one funny part was when someone was dead and covered in a white blanket then in the next shot they weren’t covered properly, then in the next shot again they were covered up again!

i was pleasantly surprised by the performances and it was a much better movie than i first expected it to be.
