Romance : Immortal Forever
Directed by the late Yash Chopra, the film doesn’t cease to impress the romantic movie lovers and of course SRK fans. People go in with some expectations of a ‘Yash Chopra’ type of romance and are not disappointed at all. It begins with a fearless army officer Samar moving all along Kashmir diffusing bombs without tinge of fear in his mind. The story flies in flashback after the audience is well settled for the movie. Shah Rukh Khan handles the role of a strict army officer and jolly youngster so well that it seems hard to believe that both roles are played by the same man. Anushka sharma is bubbly and ‘ happy-go-lucky girl’ who lives life to the fullest breathing every moment of her life happily. Katrina Kaif on other hand is exactly opposite to Anushka. She is a God-lover, believes in goodness,reserved, n filled totally with love. Yashji never lost hold of his directorial touch in the movie. The songs do deserve a thumbs up. Especially the romantic Saans and foot-tapping Ishq shava. Challa makes u groove a bit on your seat. Heer likely to trigger some emotion So for all the romance lovers, JTHJ is a perfect and ‘go for it’ film.

Sincere Emotions with Illogical Occupations.
Well i think that the goofs and mistakes seen in Imdb trivia itself sums up the amount of illogical scenes in the movie. Army was just used as a playtool by the team, no minimum respect shown towards them. While serious bomb difusing goes on, akira distracts samar by speaking about love and meera. He gets the permission immediately from indian govt to go to london as if he had no importance in london and when akira comes at first to army camp, the shots and the potrayal of army officers who give attention to akira and run affer her to keep her bag are too much to take. Throughout the film akira try to play the victim card or sympthy which annoys you all the time be it video camera scene or samar rejecting scene. Apart from these mistakes, movie had an emotion which is carried in bits and peaces for entire movie. I just loved the small track of rishi kapoor and his wife which was main attraction for the movie and plot point. From the 2hr 45min movie we can comfortably trim the akiras part and make this tight emotional movie because what meera is to samar is understood to anyone immediately after reading the diary and bringing the topic of love time and again with that person is being foolish. In the end for a story of love there is no purpose to bring army into the story when you are not taking it seriously. If you want to show that he is risking his life to prove meeras belief in god wrong… you can show him as racer, stunt double or traveller who travels to risky places etc.
