In this delightful, nine-minute Lifetime film, a little girl brightens up the life of a grumpy old man by inviting him home for Christmas with her family.

Little Paige takes a liking to old Mr. Furlong, the Scrooge-like owner of the local convenience store. For Paige, Fred Furlong is grandpa she never had. When Paige’s older sister Brooke’s promises her any item in the convenience story, Paige picks out Fred!

The invitation to a family gathering magically transforms the curmudgeon into a congenial spirit with a new outlook on life, and he serves as the stand-in grandpa for little Paige. The film was very nicely scored with music that could get any grumpy old man in the holiday spirit.
