He just wants to be left in peace so that he can get on with reading his book. But the tenants living in his building are always in need of him for something. Fix this, replace that, unblock this toilet. However, when the power goes out in the building the culprit is not a blown fuse or faulty wiring it is two of the tenants who have opened a portal to hell in the basement of the building. If Jack doesn’t close the portal and stop Great Cthulhu rising from his watery tomb city then the entire building, no, the entire world will go down the pan..
Plot: A janitor is mainly used for dirty jobs by the occupants of an apartment building. When the lights fail and he goes down into the basement, he inadvertently witnesses an occult ritual.

Portal to Hilarity
We saw Portal to Hell!!! at Toronto International Film Festival last night and loved all 11 minutes. It has slick and intelligent dialogue, delightful surprises, and ends with a shocking burst of energy. Readers of Lovecraft will appreciate the chants. This short is a delightful mix of soap opera and horror. The audience loved it, laughing and cheering throughout. I can’t wait to see this spectacular 11 minute teaser turned into a full length feature. All the odd ball characters in this rundown apartment building are interestingly quirky but I have a special fondness for one of the old guys guarding the Portal in his bathrobe and undies.

Thaaaaat is some Lovecraft stuff we wanna seeee!!!
By gosh after so many disapointing stuff that has the great name Lovecraft on it, this flick should have been a full length movie!!! Why not I ask myself?! People would love it ( no pun intended). It has this mouth of madness atmosphere and even roddy piper so come on people!!! This is some cool stuff you could do there.

Great acting great ideas even cool effects there and great music choice… I am speechless that this isnt a full movie feature still.

Make some crowd funding and you will get your money and get it hundred times back man for sure. Worked on Iron Sky 1+2 , too!? And you could do way better!!!

I am really sad that this kinda stuff is so rare to see and get today. We need more of that kinda stuff that doesnt take itself so dead serious and exactly fail because its dull to take such stuff too serious. I just can tell its like a prequel sequel to in the mouth of madness by carpenter absolute fine stuff!!
