Do not watch this movie – absolute waste of time.
This is probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen a lot of bad movies, but nothing comes even close to this one. I watched it back in 2019, in a cinema. I was considering leaving the theatre (for the first time in my life…), but decided to just finish watching it. I am to this day upset I wasted my time and money.

The movie is incredibly boring and predictable, there is almost no background sound/soundtrack. Almost nothing is happening in the background, only in the foreground. The characters are terribly written and impossible to root for. The designs are boring/painful to look at. Plus, the animation itself is awful, you can see not a lot of budget was put into it. The plot is completely unoriginal.

The entire movie just looks like it’s been forced, absolutely no heart nor passion was present in the making of this. It’s just a complete disaster of a movie.

For comparison, if you want a good movie based on Dia de los Muertos, or a good animation movie in general – I HIGHLY reccommend “Coco”. It’s a cinemtaic masterpiece, an exact opposite of whatever this is.
