Plot: Set in late-1970s Dundee, Schemers is based on writer-producer David McLean’s early years in the music business. After a run in with a local gangster, a fledgling promoter and his two friends raise their ambitions to booking major bands in order to escape their debt.

Film fail.
Only my second film ive seen since cinemas reopened. Was very disappointed i chose to see this. Was interesting to see Dundee in film but it does nothing apart from that. It was amateurish acting and very over the top accents that ive only every heard the homeless drunks in town talk like. I wish i could say i liked this but i just cant fond anything about it i liked. I heard a few laughs from others seated behind me but think that was at the dreadful dialogue.

Best film I’ve seen in a while!
Unbelievable movie. Funny, edgy, thrilling and tear jerking – it has something for everyone. Definite Trainspotting vibes.
