Watch: Beira-Mar 2015 123movies, Full Movie Online – During a weekend in the winter, two young men attempt to rekindle their friendship, witnessed by a cold raging sea. BEIRA-MAR is a film about memories. When the directors met in film school, they realized they had had a very similar upbringing, sharing the same fears and similar desires. They both grew up spending their summers on the very same beach, although they never actually met during that time. Consequently, they decided to build the two main characters based on each other’s experiences of when they were 18 years-old. Their film became the amalgamation of these memories, from this important moment of their lives, and ultimately a celebration of such unique coincidence. BEIRA-MAR was selected as one of the six works-in-progress screenings at the prestigious Toulouse’s Cine en Construccion..
Plot: A lonely beach on the southernmost coast of Brazil is the scene for two friends, on the brink of adulthood, to explore their understanding of themselves and one another. Martin (Mateus Almada) has been sent by his father to retrieve what appears to be an inheritance-related document from the family of his recently deceased and estranged grandfather. Tomaz (Mauricio Jose Barcellos) accompanies him, seemingly hoping to regain some of their former closeness. The two boys shelter themselves in a glass house, in front of a cold and stormy sea.

its not bad
Its realy nice movie to watch if you just want the emotions,its not eventfull and it doesnt have that much dialog but i realy enjoyed it because i just wanted to wach something thats relaxing and where you dont focus on the words that much.Wouldnt recomend this movie to those people who are all about plot and drama.

rather tedious
Being gay myself and having seen quite a few gay- and coming out- and coming of age movies I found this film rather tedious, way too long, rather sad and without any real story, without a beginning, a middle and an end ! The supposedly straight friend Martin is a slow, not very determent , drifting aimlessly through the day type of guy-but constantly having sex with some girl or another. He seems to be a lifelong friend of of the other, guy, who is obviously gay and has a life-long crush on Martin. Both have never had any sexual encounter with each other-and then, in the last 5 minutes of this sad little,pretentious ,badly filmed “artwork” they seem to remember that -and dutifully rush through a bedscene-after which Martin, who is afraid of the beach and the water, takes a long swing in the cold, wintry wavy ocean. NO, that’s NOT one of the must see gay movies.
