Watch: Shocker 1989 123movies, Full Movie Online – A murderous TV repairman, Horace Pinker is killing people in a small town left, right and center. He eventually finds the home of Lt. Parker, who is investigating his crimes, and savagely murders Parker’s wife, son and daughter. His other son, Jonathan has a strange connection to Pinker through his dreams, and he directs his father to Pinker’s business, where a small group of officers enter. Pinker escapes in a horrific spree, killing four officers and then targeting Jonathan’s girlfriend, Alison. Another dream leads Jonathan and his dad to a residence where they catch Pinker in in the act of kidnapping. Pinker is arrested after a fight with Jonathan and sentenced to die in the electric chair. When executed, Pinker – who supposedly had given his soul to the devil in exchange for the power to come back as an energy source – takes over people’s bodies and continues committing murders, until Jonathan devises a plan to bring Pinker into the real world, and then cut off his power source….
Plot: After being sent to the electric chair, a serial killer uses electricity to come back from the dead and carry out his vengeance on the football player who turned him in to the police.

Very tedious to sit thru the ‘television trapped scene’. Awful editing.
I first saw this in the early 90s on a vhs n somehow found it to be entertaining but aft revisiting recently I am truly shocked. The film starts well with a serial killer dozing off everyone who comes in his way but then it became very tedious. The worst is the television trapped scene. The scene where our lead actor jumps into a lake to search for a chain n pendant n voila, without any effort he finds it. As viewers we ain’t shown the underwater scene. The soul jumping from one person to another is done creepily n very well in Denzel Washington’s Fallen. Generous with 4 cos of the lip biting or sortuva lip pulling scene. Found it funny n not at all scary.

Shocker-A staple of my childhood
I’m not the type of person who reviews movies on technical aspects. I do it based on entertainment. I LOVE Shocker. Its entertaining, fun with a great villain(Mitch Pilegi of X Files fame as the demonic TV repair man Horace Pinker) an incredibly likable hero(director Peter Berg as Jonathan Sparker) and directed by the great Wes Craven. Linker is a television repair man who through the use of black magic comes back from beyond the grave after a date with the electric chair. Now a ball of electric energy Horace can jump from not only person to person but television set to television set. Only young Jonathan and the ghost of his dead love and the heart necklace he bought her can stop the murderous electrical demon. Energetic, fun and at times very dark shocker is a great thrill ride from Wes Craven with a killer soundtrack. Ignore all the negativity and give it a try. Maybe you’ll like it. He’s nationwide now. No More Mr. Nice Guy.
