Surprisingly good.
I wasn’t expecting much other than entertainment and a few laughs from the movie. Initially, the premise of the movie seems interesting but the execution just average. As the movie progress, the plot becomes interesting and the story shows some depth. By the end, the movie comes off as not great but definitely good. Performances are great on the part of Ajay and rakul, while Siddhartha’s not so much. A couple of tracks are good and will make you groove to them. Considering other things, the screenplay is okayish, editing good and the use of vfx is not bad either. All in all, it’s definitely worth one watch.

Thank God is a very ordinary fare and in most of the parts, the film’s humour falls flat. Watch the original film Sorte Kugler instead of posing yourself to this mediocre remake. It has an interesting premise but the execution and writing are not up to the mark.

Indra Kumar’s direction is simple and but he could not manages to deliver the outdated story in a compelling way. The writing lacks humour, a gripping screenplay, and the drama is not convincing enough. Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra delivered an entertaining performance. Rakul Preet Singh was fine in her limited role. Seema Pahwa and Kanwaljeet Singh were simply wasted.

Most of the things happening in the first half of the film are already shown in the two trailers released by the makers. Many scenes and some jokes were predictable and not like watching for the first time. The second half of the film offers you some good and watchable scenes. Another plus point is that it is a neat and clean entertainer which can be watched with family.
