Fodder for the misogynists
It’s sad to see a woman writer and director wasting their time on such drivel. The film is totally unbelievable (and unfunny) right from the beginning and goes downhill from there. I couldn’t take more than ten minutes. It wasn’t the acting or the direction, which was fine; it was the script. I especially like the casting of a child as a manipulative “bitch.” Congratulations. Not only do we get to see girls sexualized at a ridiculously young age, but now we get to see them depicted as selfish bitch-women as well. A couple of misogynists couldn’t have made a film with worse depictions of women. Take some some gender studies classes before you make your next film!

Outstandingly Awful Movie
This movie is so terrible, I only watched about the first 7 minutes. But in that time we had: 1. Dreadfully fake Texas accents, 2. An opening hodgepodge of scenes of Austin and San Antonio, neither of which is a small town as the description states, 3. Possibly the worst country-sounding song in existence, 4. An obnoxious, bossy child separating a couple because, apparently, she’s more clever than they are and can tell one lie and ruin plans for the main couple’s life, and 5. The opening scene of this Christmas movie shared a sex scene and and mocked Christian values.
