So Pretentious
This movie is so pretentious it is annoying.

Numerous stilted monologues and dialogues meant to be ‘smart’ or ‘witty’ but come off boring and stupid.

Terrible acting, Jason Mewes is sleepwalking through the movie, the cult leader thought he was going for an Oscar but couldnt even get a razzie. His two followers were also insanely annoying (Imagine Rob Zombie’s Firefly Clan all on Narcan).

Very little gore, but an abundance of sexual scenes and multiple strip clubs used, so if you like giant fake breasts or toe sucking you’re in for a treat.

In the end, this movie has no clue what it wants to be. The several cameo’s are welcome, but do not really fit with the tone. It jumps from Tarantino-esque crime thriller to torture flick, to campy horror and none of it gels. Still, some of the music was decent and it was nice to see AIP regulars Ted Prior and Jack Vogel along with a much too brief appearance of Felissa Rose.
