Refreshing Thriller. Love at first time
There are films that sometimes only take 1 or 2 minutes for us to realize that we are in the presence of a different film. And when we dedicate a few years of our life to an activity that is at the base of the complexity of the main character, all the surroundings become more accessible for us. And “Rowing”, for those who followed the entire learning process, is as good for “Dall” as “Dall” for “Rowing”. A film as beautiful as it is intense.

The acting yes, the plot and theme not so much
So there are already a few reviews that basically tell the story here, or tell you something of the way in which the story is told.

What is entirely disappointing to this middle aged white guy, is that this film is following in the tradition of nearly every film/thriller with a gay lead, the make the lead out to be quite crazy. I’m not sure why this trope has died along with smoking on screen or leering at womens boobs or ass, but it is well past time this stereotype was retired.

Anyone coming to see this just because it talks about the fact the lead is gay is going to find themselves disappointed and also wondering why the heck cinema is still portraying our community this way in a film that tries oh so very hard to do pretty much everything without the intention of offending or triggering anyone.
