The kindhearted Zi is moved, she agrees to pretend to be Rong and pay a visit to Rong’s grandma who is living in an ancient house far away. When Zi finally arrives the old house, the feeling of fear and uneasiness spreads out progressively. The seemingly hospitable family of Rong’s doesn’t convince Zi, she can’t stop skeptically wondering if they’re hiding a scheme. Since her arrival, weird things keep happening, Zi keeps seeing Rong in her dreams without reason – Every single day in the house, Zi feels like Rong is just next to her, wanting to talk to her or even seeking her help. The feelings is so real yet vague. Is it only Zi’s illusion, or is Rong really around? Zi is deeply bewildered by the mysterious experience, until one day she can no longer tolerate and decides to use an abnormal way to get connected with Rong.
Plot: A young girl pretends to be the deceased granddaughter of an ailing grandmother soon to celebrate her birthday. The aged woman does not know her granddaughter has died; thinking she has only left, and the young girl, with her remarkable resemblance, is asked by the family to accompany the grandmother in her last days; posing as her granddaughter in order to cheer her up for her anniversary. The young girl suddenly experiences horrific visions of the dead granddaughter, and her life is threatened when the rest of the family suddenly conspires to kill her. Now in danger, she seeks the truth about the dead girl, while slowly succumbing to insanity as illusion and reality merge.

Not A Bad Flick
A girl is asked to help a family give an elderly woman the gift of seeing her granddaughter. The elderly woman doesn’t have long to live and doesn’t know that the granddaughter has passed away. While she is apprehensive, she ultimately decides to help the family. Once she arrives at the family property, she begins to feel sinister nature to the events taking place around her and also being to see ghosts. She is unsure about what is going on and soon begins to believe that she is the dead granddaughter and her family members are plotting against her.

This isn’t bad but it isn’t what I consider to be a horror flick. It seems more like a psychological thriller with some paranormal elements thrown into it. I have to use subtitles and it sorta got a bit confusing around the end and I had to replay it a couple times to make sure I knew what was going on. It may have had a couple of jump scares but there wasn’t much going on in the “scary” department.

Once again, it isn’t a bad film but it isn’t anything to rave about. If you are looking for a way to pass some time it will keep you occupied. If you are looking for something to tingle your spine, you may want to look elsewhere.

Well, I enjoyed the movie, it could have been more terrifying but it was kind of cool to watch, I liked it!
