Watch: The Wishing Well 2009 123movies, Full Movie Online – Small Wells is an inconspicuous Midwest town, where nothing truly spectacular happens, so whatever gets into its local newspaper, run by Mark Jansen, is ‘exciting’. The local wish well actually works, but only when one ‘makes the right wish’. When Mark’s motherless daughter does, it mysteriously brings along New York celebrity magazine editor Cynthia Tamerline. Somehow she becomes apprentice at the paper, which is in such poor financial state that Mark is resigned to sell out to a Chicago press syndicate magnate..
Plot: Widower, Mark Jansen, owns and runs the local newspaper for the Midwest town he grew up in. As he struggles to make ends meet, his daughter takes his happiness into her hands by going down to the famous wishing well their little town is known for, and wishing for just that – his happiness. Shortly after, a glamorous woman appears in town by the name of Cynthia Tamerline. Lead by Mark’s daughter, Cynthia makes a trip to the well herself and casts a wish. When she wakes up the next morning, she finds that she has been transported to an alternate universe that ultimately changes her forever.

Worth the watch–I actually liked it
Despite the ’10’ I gave it, no, it’s not an Oscar contender. Yes, it’s predictable and follows the’Movie of the Week’ formula. This said, I enjoyed it. As far as the made-for-TV-corny-romance-movie-of-the-week genre goes, I think it earns the 10. I’ve never reviewed a movie on here before, but after reading the only review decided to throw in my two cents. Maybe it’s because I’m a small-town girl who moved to the ‘big city’…maybe it’s because sometimes I just enjoy a corny Hallmark movie on a Saturday night. Over the holidays I caught several movies with Jason London & Ernest Borgnine and am becoming rather fond of them…or was it Jeremy London & Ed Asner…maybe that’s it. Anyway, whatever the case, I’d watch it again!
