Pleasantly surprised
After reading some of the lower ratings, I wasn’t expecting much, but because I love Zombie movies, decided to turn my attention to the many good reviews. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised! I think it is a great story and beautifully shot. I read someone say that things were confusing – but I think they confuse creativity with confusion. Yes, some moments were “confusing” and “random” – but I feel that the storytellers did this for a reason. We have seen first hand how bizarre life and people become when they are faced with something so out of the norm. During Covid-19 now I feel displaced, lost, confused, random and very very surreal….I cannot imagine it being any different to a zombie outbreak – if not more so. These elements of the story that is referred to as “confusing and random” puts me right in the reality of the characters. Trying to live a somewhat normal life with a normal relationship, when it is practically impossible. Also great effects and a lo of twists! Great job guys!
